Acne affects a huge number of people from all over the globe and is probably one of the most miss understood conditions. For instance, a lot of people believe that acne is caused by not watching, or or not using anti-spot creams on the face and body to combat spots and blackheads. However acne is much deeper than this and is a problem that comes from inside the body, which is why the best acne cures solve the root of the problem by improving the internal health of the individual.

Many scientists now believe that acne is caused by toxins that are excreted through the skin, block up the pores in the skin and present a great area for acne bacteria to grow which finally leads to spots on the skin. This means that if we can reduce the toxicity of blood or improve the filtering capacity of our internal organs such as the liver, kidneys and bowels then less toxins will have to be excreted through the skin, your pores won’t become blocked and you’ll clear your acne by addressing the root cause.

The reason why most topical substances don’t work to cure acne is because they don’t address the toxicity levels of the body and they only attack the acne at the surface of the skin, which in the grand scheme of things is very late on in the acne battle. These substances are great for helping remove spots that have already formed, however they are not necessarily very good at preventing new spots from appearing which is why a successful acne program should combine more than one method of attack

Did you know that there are three keys that you need to know in order to clear acne?

Only recently hitting the US market, BB Cream seems to be pretty much the best thing since sliced bread. What exactly is it though? In short, its a combination of a ton of really good things that you want on your skin. They contain anti-aging and anti-acne stuff, and let your face look more natural by acting as a foundation, concealer, and moisturizer, all in one! For many people who are on the run and skimp out on their morning routines at times, theyre great for drastically cutting the time you need to spend. BB Creams also contain sun protection, preventing you from needing to apply sun protection. Their application leaves your skin looking natural, so nobody really knows that youve got all these great things happening with your skin. They do have to problems, however. First, the fact that they include moisturizers can lead people with oily skin away from them. I have some problems with the oiliness in my t zone area, but its nothing major. If you have excessively oily skin, Id try some at the makeup counter before buying it, just to make sure that you dont feel greasy. Second, and more importantly, I havent found them in dark tones. Have light skin? Youll be happy. If youre darker like I am, however, youll have a hard (heck, impossible so far) time finding something that matches your skin. When they do release dark toned bb creams, Ill be all over them, but until then I cant really use them without looking strange.br

Many dermatologists and doctors prescribe a tetracycline acne treatment for their patients with moderate to severe acne. In most cases this is used as an extra strength countermeasure for acne that is persistant and refuses to give in initially to milder treatments or for those who are especially distressed about their severe acne. The idea is to hit the acne with an oral antibiotic such as Tetracycline in combination with a topical antibiotic. This takes longer so patients may not notice a change immedietely but there will hopefully be dramatic results after a couple weeks.

Unfortunently Tetracycline is a broad spectrum antibiotic used in the treatment of many other conditions besides acne, such at the dreaded Typhus Fever and Pneumonia. This widespread use increases the likelihood of creating super bacteria resistant to antibiotics. So doctors are much less likely to give a prescription for antibiotics to treat acne these days.

If you are prescribed a tetracycline acne treatment you will probably be kept on it for up to six months to give the antibiotic a chance to work its way to where its needed. After that you will gradually be weaned off the oral dosage and continue with topical creams.

There are side effects to using this antibiotic so make sure your doctor describes them in detail. A few of the more common side effects can be anemia, blood disorders, blurred vision and headaches. Though rare some can develop a severe allergic reaction. If you develop any unusual symptoms discontinue use and call your doctor. It should not be used during the last half of pregnancy or given to children under the age of eight. It can also damage developing teeth and cause discoloring of them. Typically however most people experience little problem with the antibiotic and successfully complete their treatment programs./pbr
