Keep Calm and Clear Your Acne

There are many different reasons for acne to develop and one of the keys to finding an effective treatment is to understand which factor is proving the most problematic for you. If you have always suffered from acne, from a young age, this can be more difficult and a tried and tested method is probably going to be the most suitable. This can be achieved by trying different remedies and treatments in on a three month basis, and seeing which works for you.
However, if you have suddenly developed acne either for the first time in your life or for the first time since you were a teenager, it is more likely that lifestyle is proving to be the problem. A major cause of acne, particularly in adults, is actually stress.
This is because stress increases your hormones, and this in turn forces glands in your skin to secrete more fluid which can lead to blocked pores and eventually acne. This hormonal problem is what creates acne in teenagers, when hormones surge during puberty, and for expectant mothers. Therefore, if you are experiencing a particularly stressful period of life, your hormones will have responded in kind and this will produce acne.
If you feel that stress is a major contributing factor to you breaking out in acne, there is some hope. Unlike some causes of acne, dealing with stress is a relatively simple problem to cure, though it can take a little longer. Rather than reaching for extreme medicinal and skincare problems – which will only treat the symptom of your stress, the acne itself – try and focus on the cause. It is advisable to try and see what has made life so stressful your hormones have gone into overdrive, and take steps to remedy the situation. If necessary, spa and at-home treatments which focus on calming the system may be implemented as well as other measures – such as breathing control and meditation – to try and ease the problem.
However, unlike a powerful cream or antibiotic cream, achieving results this way can take a few months and for some this is not a tolerable concept. It is, however, best to try and remember that the problem has arisen predominantly through stress and while creams and ointments may work, they are only solving the cause and not the root reason behind the problem. Deal with this, and you can say goodbye to acne forever.
One of the best natural cures for acne was developed by Chris Gibson by trial and error to rid himself of his own acne problems. His program is called Acne Free in 3 Days and has an incredible 98% success rate. It relies on both a detoxifying diet and application of a topical cream to help rid your body of the toxins that are the root cause of your acne problems.
