These usually contain glycolic acid and salicylic acid, which are strong peeling agents.

Other options also include antibiotic creams that contain lymecycline, clindamyycine and minocycline. There are also retinoids (containing adapalene, tazarotene and tertinoin) that help to follicles gone awry to normalize and go easy on the irritation.
